At least for the time being, most of the courses linked here are organised by the DAA, the German Academy for Acupuncture. Courses for midwives are also expected to be available soon outside of the DAA. If there is sufficient interest, I am happy to organise courses myself. If you have any ideas, suggestions or, above all, are interested in attending, please do not hesitate to contact me!

The Ear 3 course in Hamburg is led by Dr Beate Strittmatter, an experienced acupuncturist and doctor. Participants gain insights into laser acupuncture and acquire in-depth knowledge of auricular medicine. Treatments are usually also carried out on participants (upon request, of course), which clearly demonstrate how the knowledge acquired can be applied professionally and appropriately in practice.

The former Davos Acupuncture Days have been transformed into the World Acupuncture Forum for several years now. Numerous lectures on new research results, work and findings in auricular medicine are shared with the participants, discussed and often debated together – both on stage and in afternoon workshops, and of course during conversations over dinner. A must for every acupuncture enthusiast, and of course also a great opportunity to network and exchange ideas.

The annual DAA congress in Timmendorf can confidently be regarded as a very welcome must-attend event. Here, too, important innovations and the latest findings from complementary and often also conventional medicine are discussed. Specialist lectures provide a forum for exchanging traditional and new knowledge. And as the esteemed Dr M. Weber likes to say: every 10 years or so, 50% of our knowledge turns out to be wrong. Experience has shown us that we only know which 50% this is after the fact. For this reason alone, regular exchange is so immensely important!
